Goats are the sweetest of animals, and we have a flock of 13 here at Littlehill. Some came as tiny kids, unwanted males from goat dairy farms. They are neutered by our large animal vets, and join the flock, who are the hooligans of the sanctuary. No plant is sacred, so our garden is a thing of the past, but they are such characters that we forgive them for their insatiable appetites! They are intensely curious, and come to check out any unusual activity around the sanctuary. They keep the briar hedges trimmed for us too.
As with the sheep, the goats are permanent residents and are not available for adoption.
