We have a small number of drakes and ganders who came to us in need of a home. The ganders are the watchdogs of the premises, and will chase any interlopers off with great efficiency! We also rescue a turkey or two at Christmas time, and we take pleasure in feeding them a sumptuous Christmas dinner. Our first rescue turkey was called Lucky, and she lived here for many years until she died peacefully of old age.
