Hens, hens, hens!

We have lots of hens in foster here at the Sanctuary, so please contact us if you can offer a home to these little girls before Santa comes!

AND – we have just had a call from one of the farms we rescue hens from  – they have more hens due for slaughter next week, but have agreed to hold on to them until Sunday 16th December. We’ll be delivering hens to the east of the country next Sunday. Details will be posted on our Facebook page, or email us for times and locations.

Tallaght, Naas, Arklow, Enniscorthy, Carlow and Bray are the areas we’ll be bringing hens for rehoming – contact us to book yours!

We will have hens from a battery farm available for adoption on the last two weekends in August. All details are on our Facebook page – we will be delivering hens all over Ireland, thanks to our amazing volunteers. Please note – Littlehill does not give free to good home, an adoption fee applies to cover the huge costs involved in our rehoming operation.

Our next hen rescue will take place in early September – please email littlehill.animalsanctuary@gmail.com with your name, a contact number, your location and the number of hens you want.  We will only be going to a couple of locations this time, so please be prepared to travel a bit!  These little hens are so worth a few extra miles!

Please check our Facebook page for updates on our next hen rescue – we will post dates during the summer, as soon as we are contacted by farmers.
